Believers / Credincioșii, the upcoming feature film directed by Tudor Giurgiu, is among the eight South-East European projects selected to receive a development grant of 9,000€ from the South Eastern Europe Cinema Network.
The announcement was made on Friday, 7 November 2025, during the SEE Cinema Network’s 38th General Assembly, held in Thessaloniki in conjunction with the 66th Thessaloniki International Film Festival. A total of 72,000€ was awarded to the 2025 Funding Round, with each selected project receiving equal support for its development.
The project is part of Libra Films’ mini-slate, which received Creative Europe – MEDIA development support in 2022. In Spring 2025, Believers secured production funding from the Romanian Film Center (CNC), marking a decisive milestone toward production.
