On their own

Growing up without her parents, who had gone to work in the West, Flavia became a tough but distant teenager. The routine that keeps her safe and emotionally isolated is disrupted when two young children who have run away from home seek shelter with her.

Driven by poverty, Flavia’s parents left home to work abroad so she has been living alone since she was 14. This made her tough and sarcastic. But now her parents are also getting a divorce and she loses her cool. In an emotional crisis she decides to take care of two runaways – DUDU(9) and LIA(12).
